Former Simba striker Lionel Ateba has completed a transfer to Iraqi Premier League side Al Shorta.
Ateba, who still had one year remaining on his contract with Simba, opted to join Al Shorta despite several strong offers that had been tabled for him.
Reports indicate Simba earned approximately Tsh 700 million from the transfer of the Cameroonian forward.
Ateba joined Simba last season from USM Alger, where he went on to score 13 league goals and four more in other competitions for the Tanzanian giants.
