It is reported that Simba have completed the signing of five foreign players as part of their plan to strengthen the squad ahead of the challenges in various competitions next season.
The list includes two wingers, a left-back, a defensive midfielder, and one striker.
Winger Mofosse Tresor Karidioula from Egyptian club Haras El Hodood is said to be the first signing made by Simba in this transfer window.
Left-back Khadim Diaw from Al Hilal of Sudan has also finalized a deal with Simba, as has defensive midfielder Alassane Kante from Tunisian side CA Bizertin.
Also included is winger Mohammed Bajaber, who joins the Msimbazi giants from Kenya Police FC, while striker Jonathan Sowah is reported to have completed his move from Singida Black Stars.
Goalkeeper Yacoub Mohamed from JKT Tanzania leads the list of local players who have finalized deals with Simba, along with central defender Wilson Nangu, also from JKT Tanzania.
Midfielder Hussein Semfuko from Coastal Union is also reported to have signed with the Reds of Msimbazi.
Simba are still being linked with several local and foreign stars, including Zoman FC midfielder Privat Djessan Bi, Feisal Salum and Yahya Zayd from Azam FC, Abdallah Kulandana from Fountain Gate, and striker Dramane Kamagate from San Pedro in Ivory Coast.
Simba's Media and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ali, stated that the club has completed all signings they had initially planned, but the transfer activity will officially conclude after the CHAN 2024 tournament scheduled from August 2 to August 30 in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Ahmed explained that the team will use the tournament to fill the few remaining slots, believing it could be an opportunity to spot and recruit top talent.
He boldly claimed that once Simba start unveiling their signings, their rivals will be left in stunned silence by the sheer quality of players the club has acquired.
