Central defender Hussein Kazi is not expected to be part of Simba’s squad for the upcoming season following the expiry of his contract.
Namungo FC is reportedly in talks with the former Geita Gold defender regarding a potential signing.
Kazi has been with Simba for two seasons since joining the Msimbazi Reds in the 2023/24 campaign.
However, his second season proved difficult as he failed to break into the first team under coach Fadlu Davids and was left out even in non-competitive matches.
He is among the players recommended for release by coach Fadlu Davids.
