Simba SC has finalized plans for their 2025/26 preseason preparations, with the Msimbazi Reds scheduled to begin their training camp on July 25.
According to sources within the club's management, the preseason camp will be held abroad, with either Egypt or Turkey being considered as the host country.
A senior official from Simbaβs technical bench stated that both countries offer ideal environments and stability for preparations.
βWe have chosen Egypt and Turkey as our top options because of their favorable training environments. Egypt has many clubs that compete in African tournaments and excellent infrastructure,β
βTurkey offers good weather, modern training grounds, and the opportunity to play friendly matches with clubs from Eastern Europe and Asia. We want our squad to be fully prepared for the upcoming season,β the official told Mwanaspoti.
Last season, Simba held their preseason camp in Ismailia, Egypt, where they played four friendly matches as part of their preparations.
In this year's international camp, Simba is expected to play four to five friendly matches against prominent clubs with strong international reputations. These matches will be arranged in collaboration with international sports agents.
The objective of these matches is not only to assess the performance of new players but also to experiment with new tactical systems, build squad chemistry, and offer players competitive exposure ahead of the new campaign.
