While the min registration window is expected to open on Monday, December 16, the Simba club has revived the saga of defender Lameck Lawi who was supposed to land in the previous window but failed due to what was said to be an offer abroad where however he failed the tests
Coastal Union had already received part of Simba's payment for the player's registration but later they stopped the plan to sell him because they said Simba violated the conditions of sale after delaying the payment
Initially, the Committee on Laws and Status of Players listened to the case submitted by Simba to oppose what was done by Coastal Union, however the Committee approved Lawi to continue serving Coastal Union while they wanted the clubs to end each other outside the Committee
It is as if an agreement was not reached and Simba has returned to the Law Committee where today Friday it sat to listen to various consultations including that of Lawi
Information from inside the Committee session has indicated that, there is no change because it has asked the Simba and Coastal Union clubs to end each other
Leaders of Simba and Coastal Union who attended the case for the consultation, have confirmed the instructions given to them by the Committee
"The committee has listened to us and asked us to sit down ourselves so that we can finish each other, I believe this issue will reach an agreement and continue with other things," one of the leaders of the Coastal Union was quoted by Mwanaspoti
