Acting head coach of Simba Juma Mgunda has said he is happy to see former team captain John Bocco has turned to football coaching after officially announcing his retirement from playing football after this season comes to an end
Mgunda said Bocco had all the qualities to be a coach and he believes he will succeed in his new duties
"If you ask Bocco who advised him to study coaching, he will mention me. It is my boy, apart from teaching him, he has been a gentleman, responsive"
"Bocco was a leading player and that's why he was the captain of the previous teams because he is a player who can live with everyone and is quick to direct someone to understand," said Mgunda
Mgunda has said that Bocco will continue to live in the hearts of the nation and not just Simba because the great things he did not only for the club but also for the national team
Bocco is currently the coach of the Simba U17 youth team and at the same time continuing his training in soccer coaching
