Chairman of the Simba club Murtaza Mangungu has asked the members of the club to develop unity and cooperation to make Simba a strong institution
Speaking today while opening the General Meeting of Simba club members, Mangungu said the goal of his leadership is to ensure they maintain unity and make the Simba institution more attractive to investors
Mangungu has said that Simba needs investment to continue making progress and achieve more success
"For example someone says investment is not profitable when before the investment the income was Tsh. 1.6 billion, immediately after the investment it increased to Tsh. 6.9 billion"
"In Africa we were more than 80th in terms of quality and now we are in seventh place. We want productive criticism," said Mangungu
Mangungu also explained the use of money donated by members and fans in various campaigns
"If you remember you donated money for the construction of the stadium and that money was used to build the wall of the Bunju stadium and other money was used to strengthen the team camp:
"Let's build a strong Simba for the current and future generations. Let's continue to cooperate and I believe Allah will go before us," said Mangungu
