Simba head coach Robertinho Oliveira said three points in the game against Ihefu Fc is the most important result they needed yesterday
It is after a 2-1 victory against Ihefu Fc in the premier league game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Robertinho said that the game was difficult for his youngsters because they were still tired from their participation in the African Football League
The expert from Brazil said that Simba only practiced for two days so they knew the game would not be easy but he is happy they were able to leave with all three points
"The schedule was not friendly, we have just participated in the major African Football League (AFL) championships and traveled from Egypt to return to Tanzania"
"We have trained two days before today to go on the field. I congratulate my players, it was not an easy task but we got three important points at home," said Robertinho
Simba's goals in the game were scored by Jean Baleke and Moses Phiri who entered the second half to replace Baleke
Robertinho said it was his plan to bring Phiri into the second half and give Baleke and Kibu Denis 'Mkandaji' a break
The next game is Kariakoo derby against Yanga will be played on Sunday, November 05 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
