Simba's number one goalkeeper Aishi Manula returned to the squad last week starting with light training
In a statement released by Simba, Manula is expected to train for three week before officially returning to the field
Manula was out of the field since the end of last season after sustaining thigh injuries, but now Simba's doctor, Edwin Kagabo has said he only needs three weeks to join his colleagues on the field
If everything goes well, Manula can play the opening match of the new African Football League (AFL) against the 10-time African champions, Al Ahly of Egypt, in Kwa Mkapa, October 20
Manula also started light training in the field, but since July he had started personal training in the gym as he seemed to return faster than expected
