The draw for the CAF Super League knockout matches is expected to be held in September 2023 while the tournament, which is being played for the first time in Africa, is expected to be held in October 2023
The matches will be played by knock-out, home and away where the four teams that will win in the overall result will advance to the semi-finals
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is fixing sponsorship issues, thus postponing the draw that was supposed to take place this month
The eight teams that will participate in the tournament are Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns, Esperance and Wydad which will be in port 1
Others are Simba, TP Mazembe, Petro Luanda and Enyimba which will be in port 2
