Simba has confirmed to part ways with goalkeeper Beno Kakolanya whose contract has ended
Beno has served Simba for three seasons, joining the Reds of Msimbazi from Yanga club in 2019
The departure of Beno is a sign that Simba is going to sign another goalkeeper who will work along Aishi Manula and Ali Salim
However, Manula is injured and is expected to return to the squad in October 2023. Simba will need to sign a goalkeeper who will be number one while Manula is still injured
Salim has done a good job since he was entrusted but it is clear that he still needs to be strengthened
