Chief Executive of the Simba Sc Imani Kajula has said that the first session towards the Africa Super League expected to start in October 2023 has been held in Cairo Egypt
Simba is among the eight teams that will participate in the tournament which is very rich for participating clubs
"Yesterday I was at a meeting with the African Football Federation (CAF) along with seven other teams that we will participate in the Africa Super League competition that will be held from October to November in a Home and Away system"
"We at Simba SC have great faith in doing well because our league is ending, which means we will have time to make improvements to the squad as well as better preparations"
"And the teams that we will compete in the Super League, all of which I participated in the session with yesterday are Enyimba, Al Ahly, TP Mazembe, Wydad Casablanca, Mamelod Sundowns, Petro Athletico as well as Simba SC," said Kajula. em>
Kajula has noted that when the league ends, they expect to make major improvements to the squad for the upcoming 2023/24 competition season
