The Information and Communication Manager of Simba Sc Ahmed Ally has said that preparations for the match against Wydad Athletic have started today as Simba begin camp for the quarter-final game of the CAF Champions League
The game will be played on Saturday, April 22nd at 4pm at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Speaking at a Press Conference, Ahmed said Simba will start training at Mo Simba Arena today at 4pm
"The team has begun camp for the preparation to face Wydad Athletic on Saturday, the team has entered the camp at 9am. In the evening Simba will continue training at Mo Simba Arena"
"Players Sadio Kanoute who was suffering from hip injuries and Aishi Manula will report to the camp for an evaluation of their injuries and the doctors will give their recommendations if they should join their colleagues in the camp or if they still need more time for treatment"
"Augustinr Okrah has recovered, he returned to training last week but he was not fit to be used in the previous games," said Ahmed
Ahmed has said Wydad Athletic club will arrive in the country on Wednesday, along with all the referees of the game who are from the countries of Senegal and Ivory Coast
There will also be VAR referees because from the quarter-final stage VAR is used
The quarter-final matches will be played with the help of VAR, the referees will arrive on Wednesday
Ahmed has mentioned the entries of the game; VIP A Tsh 30,000/-, VIP B Tsh 20,000/-, VIP C 10,000/- and Regular is Tsh 5,000/-
