Simba's holding midfielder, Sadio Kanoute has said that he will continue to work hard ensure that he helps Simba achieve its goals in international and domestic competitions
Kanoute has noted that he follows the training programs given by his coaches but he also does extra exercises even during breaks to make sure he is better all the time
"A player who knows he is reliable in the team must do his personal training without being pushed, so staying out of the camp cannot affect his fitness and level. Also, reaching the quarter-final stage for us is another opportunity to fight for another stage and it makes us valuable," said Kanoute
Kanoute said it was a good thing for him to score two goals for Simba in the Champions League game against Horoya Ac but the important thing was to help the team get good results
"I want to contribute as much as I can, that's why if I get a chance to score I will score, at the same time the team must be safe by not being attacked by opponents at our goal," he said
Kanoute joined Simba 2021 from Stade Malien signing a two-year contract. The management is preparing to renew his contract before the end of the season
With the signing of other midfielders, Kanoute and Mzamiru Yassin have continued to be reliable players in that position
