The head coach of Simba, Roberto Oliveira 'Robertinho', said they are going to Uganda to seek victory against Vipers Fc to revive the hope of reaching the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Speaking shortly before starting the journey to Uganda, Robertinho said his players are ready for the game and will make sure they win away from home
"We are determined to win the game against Vipers regardless of whether we are away, I know it won't be easy, but let me just tell you that I have great faith in my army of 24 players and we will do wonders," said Robertinho.
The 24 players who traveled this evening are Aishi Manula, Beno Kakolanya, Ally Salum, Shomari Kapombe, Izrael Mwenda, Mohamed Hussein, Gadiel Michael, Kennedy Juma, Mohammed Ouattara, Joashi Onyango, Henock Inonga and Erasto Nyoni.
Others are Sadio Kanoute, Mzamiru Yassin, Clatous Chama, Ismail Sawadogo, Saido Ntibazonkiza, Peter Banda, Kibu Denis, Pape Sakho, John Bocco, Jean Baleke, Moses Phiri and Habibu Kyombo.
