Simba head coach Robertinho Oliveira said 3-2 victory they got in the Premier League game against Mbeya City will add morale to his players to do well in the next matches
Being his first league game since he joined Simba, Robertinho made tactical changes to his team where he said he is satisfied with the perfomance shown by his players
Robertinho said with only a short time with Simba, the players have started to understand his methods and he is hopeful that he will build a strong team for the Premier League and Champions League
"The main goal today (yesterday) was to win, I'm glad we won. It's still early but I'm satisfied with the reaction of the players"
"I am a believer in direct attacking football, I still need time to build a strong team, I only have seven days here. I will probably need 20 days or more to make Simba play the way I want"
"I came here to build a strong team to compete for the premier league as well as to do well in the Champions League," said Robertinho
The victory against Mbeya City has made Simba reduce the points gap against Yanga from nine points to six points while both teams have played 20 matches
Simba has reached 47 points in second place. The race for the premier league championship is still open
