Simba's leading goalscorer, Moses Phiri, said reaching the group stage in the Champions league means a lot to the players, coaching staff, leaders and fans as it is one of the achievements of this season
Phiri, who joined Simba in the last transfer window from Zambia's Zanaco Fc, has set a record of his kind in the Champions League by scoring five goals in four knockout matches
In the stage Simba scored eight goals, Phiri's contribution being evident on a large scale
Phiri said he is here to score goals, this is just the beginning
"Scoring five goals in four matches, I put it in my heart in my goals and it has come true although I believe I had a chance to score more than that"
"The five goals from the previous stage have already passed, we are going to play six more difficult matches in the group stage and there I need to do better than the previous stage and I believe that is possible"
