Simba head coach Juma Mgunda said that preparations for the Champions League game against Primeiro De Agosto are progressing well with his young men being ready at about 80 percent
After the 3-1 win in Angola on Sunday, Simba will host the Primeiro De Agosto in a game where a win or even a draw will be enough to see Simba advance to the group stage
Speaking to journalists today while in the evening training program, Mgunda said preparations are going well until Sunday, Simba will be 100 percent ready
"As I said the match is not over yet, we played 90 minutes in Angola and now on Sunday we will finish another 90 minutes at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium. We are going to meet a good team that I know will come here with the aim of winning after we beat them in the game first"
"Our preparations are 80 percent complete, I expect that by Sunday, we will be 100 percent ready for the game," said Mgunda
In Simba training held at Mo Simba Arena, Bunju, only two players Jimmyson Mwinuke and Shomari Kapombe are still missing
Mgunda has confirmed that the players are still recovering from injuries and will not be part of the squad that will go to the field to face Primeiro De Agosto on Sunday
