Former Sekhukhune United coach Cedric Kaze is in Tanzania, with sources indicating that he has held talks with Yanga management over a possible return to Jangwani.
Kaze was part of Nasreddine Nabi’s technical bench a few seasons ago, when they successfully won all domestic trophies and guided Yanga to the CAF Confederation Cup final.
If an agreement is reached, Kaze will be added to head coach Manqoba Mngqithi’s technical bench as one of the assistant coaches.
The Burundian coach joined Sekhukhune United at the start of this season after spending two seasons at Kaizer Chiefs as part of the technical staff.
However, he was forced to terminate his contract with Sekhukhune United amid reports of dissatisfaction with the way the South African Premier League club was being run.
If he returns to Yanga, it will mark his third stint with Wananchi, having previously served the club during two separate spells.
