Yanga’s new attacking midfielder Celestin Ecua has arrived in Dar es Salaam, awaiting official unveiling before beginning his duties with the Tanzanian champions.
The MVP of the Ivorian Premier League last season joins the “Wananchi” from Zoman FC, having spent last season on loan at ASEC Mimosas.
Ecua made a strong mark in the Ivorian league, scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists. He becomes the third MVP from Ivory Coast to sign with Yanga in the last three seasons, following in the footsteps of Stephane Aziz Ki and Pacome Zouzoua.
Ecua is versatile, capable of playing as a number 10 attacking midfielder, a winger, and even as a central striker.
It’s only a matter of time before Yanga officially unveils this highly talented signing.
