Yanga SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has reminded the club’s members and fans to pay their membership fees in order to support the club financially.
The new financial year began on July 1, and every registered member or supporter is required to pay their annual subscription, while those who are not yet registered are encouraged to do so at the club’s branches.
Kamwe emphasized that maintaining a strong squad capable of winning titles consecutively comes with high costs, and therefore, every Yanga stakeholder must take responsibility to ensure that the trophies continue flowing to Jangwani.
“This Yanga is a members’ club, so it is every member’s duty to fulfill their obligations. Otherwise, we risk going back to where we came from — something none of us wants to see repeated,” he said.
“Right now, many key players have reached the end of their contracts, and we need to offer them new deals quickly. Let’s be honest — the team needs money, and we as members must understand this is our responsibility,” Kamwe added.
Yanga has registered nearly 100,000 members, but the challenge remains in timely payment of membership dues.
