Yanga SC is reported to have completed the transfer of versatile player Aboubakar Nidhar Othman, popularly known as 'Ninju', who had been playing on loan at JKU of Zanzibar from the Azam FC youth team.
Ninju (17) is truly a utility player, capable of playing multiple positions, especially in defense and midfield.
While at JKU, he was deployed as a left back, center back, defensive midfielder, and attacking midfielder.
During the 2025 Muungano Cup final between JKU and Yanga, Ninju played as a left back and delivered an outstanding performance that caught the attention of Yanga officials.
He was later named the Best Young Player of the 2025 Muungano Cup tournament.
