Yanga Head Coach Miloud Hamdi continues to prove that Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said made no mistake in bringing him from Singida BS, as his team keeps delivering dominant performances.
After leading Yanga to a 5-0 win over Tanzania Prisons in their previous match, Hamdi again guided the team to another emphatic 5-0 victory over Dodoma Jiji, strengthening their position to retain the league title.
Since joining Yanga following the sudden departure of coach Sead Ramovic, Hamdi has led the team in 16 competitive matches, winning 15 and drawing just one.
During his tenure, Hamdi also led Yanga to win the Union Cup in May this year.
Hamdi now faces two crucial matches, and if he wins both, it’s likely he will secure a long-term contract with the club known as Wananchi.
It’s worth noting that Hamdi initially signed a short-term contract with Yanga, which is set to expire after the CRDB Cup final against Singida BS on June 29.
His remaining task is to ensure Yanga successfully defends both the NBC Premier League title and the CRDB Cup.
