Yanga Sports Club's Communications and Media Manager, Ali Kamwe, has stated that Yanga is a strong institution capable of independently defending and safeguarding its interests.
Kamwe made this statement following a report released earlier today by Simba Sports Club, in which, among other things, they called on the League Board to publicly release the report that led to the postponement of match number 184, which was initially scheduled for March 8.
Kamwe said that Simba's statement raises even more questions, noting that the club had previously announced it would not play any match until those responsible for blocking the game were held accountable.
Kamwe urged their rivals to wait for June 15 to be awarded a walkover at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, adding that all other matters are strictly between Yanga and the League Board.
