Yanga striker Hafiz Konkoni has promised the Citizens that he will continue to fight to ensure that he gets a chance to appear in the field on a regular basis
Konkoni has had a tough time finding a place up front with Clement Mzize and Kennedy Musonda looking to be first choice
After being absent from the field for about three matches, Konkoni got a chance in the premier league game against Geita Gold, a game in which Yanga won 3-0
The minutes he got in the second half raised hopes that maybe he can get more chances if he continues to fight
"God's time is the right time, no success comes easily, I will continue to fight and be patient because I believe I will succeed," Konkoni wrote on his social media page
Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that he was not 100 percent fit for the game compared to his colleagues because he joined the team late
In addition, Konkoni suffered injuries that kept him out for about a week, he is back to fight for his place
This season Konkoni has scored two goals, scoring in the Premier League and the Champions League
