The football champions of Mainland Tanzania, Yanga will be the third pot along with TP Mazembe, Al Hilal and Asec Mimosas
Pot 1 will have the teams of Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns, Wydad Athletic and Esperance
Pot 2 will have Pyramids, Petro Atketico, CR Belouisdad and Simba teams
Pot 4 will have the teams of Etoile Sahel, Jwaneng Galaxy, Fc Nouadhibou and Medeama
The group in which Yanga will be organized will have one team from Pot 1,2 and 4
