The appeals committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has today announced the decisions of the committee in relation to Haji Manara's sentence of being banned from football for two years as well as having to pay a fine of Tsh 20 million.
The chairman of the committee Richard Mbaruku has said that they have reviewed Manara's appeal and found that it lacks merit, but they have used the discretion to reduce his punishment and now he will serve his sentence of two years and a fine of Tsh 10 million from the previous Tsh 20 million
