Yanga striker Yacouba Songne yesterday posted a message on his Instagram page thanking his teammates for fighting for the team to ensure they win the Title this season
Some fans interpreted the message that he was probably saying goodbye as his contract is about to expire in June
However Yacouba had to give an explanation and reassure fans that he is still a Yanga player and he will be, the message he had previously posted was for conglatulating fellow teammates the good work they are doing
"I'm not leaving just congratulating the players for all the work they do I love this club and I will always be here," wrote Yacouba
Yacouba has returned to training recently after recovering from a surgical injury that sidelined him for about five months
