Yanga Sc leadership has called on the League Board to fulfill their responsibility to ensure that they protect the status of the league from being tarnished by a minority
Speaking at a press conference today, Yanga Information Officer Hassan Bumbuli said they are not satisfied with the league's performance, especially due to preferential incidents from referees
Bumbuli released statistics showing how much Simba Sc have been benefiting from referees' mistakes in nine games
"We are leading this League with a five (5) point difference, with very high hopes that we have a strong squad and are going to win the title this season"
"Despite all this Yanga Club would like to express that we are not satisfied with the conduct of some referees playing Premier League games"
"This is due to a series of controversial decision-making that in one way or another deprive other teams of their rights and benefit other teams"
"Yanga have played 14 matches the added minute is 34, in the 15 games Simba have played they have been added 75 minutes, Simba are added 7 minutes 9 minutes etc but Yanga 2,3,4 minutes also Simba is the leading team in Penalty," said Bumbuli
Bumbuli said Yanga as an institution does not ask for favor but what they want is to see the league run smoothly for all teams and not just one team appearing to benefit the most from controversial decisions
