Former Yanga coach Cedric Kaze recommended the signing of central defender Dickson Job to the Yanga Technical Committee headed by Dominic Albinus 'Baba Paroko'
Albinus has revealed what Kaze told him on why he needs the defender despite Yanga having some talented central defenders
"I need you to sign Dickson Job because he is a defender with good footwork," Kaze's statement
Kaze wanted a central defender who could play football. Unfortunately Kaze left before Job stepped on the field with Yanga's jersey.
Coach Nabi's philosophy, Yanga need to play from the back, which is why Dickson Job's name will no doubt be the first on the coach's paper.
Dickson Job is calm, very 'comfortable' with a ball at his feet. When he receives a pass, he calms down and looks for the right place to play.
Job is also a COURAGEOUS player behind his heart. Even during the times he was under pressure, he still dared to settle down and make decisions.
Yanga has a lot of good defenders but when it comes to playing football, I think Dickson Job is the best of them.
I look forward to seeing Job more under coach Nabi. For any coach who likes to play short-passes football from the back, Dickson Job's name will be the first in Yanga's defensive line.
As a young man who has passed all levels of the National team I believe he is a pillar to support his team Yanga and Taifa stars for so many years.
Many have been intimidated by his stature, but if you look closely he is a very good player especially when it comes to competing for the high balls against tall strikers.
He has been using great intelligence and high-quality timing to catch all the top balls in his area
