Simba SC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zubeda Hassan Sakuru, has praised the club’s striker, Ibrahim Doumbia, saying his arrival has brought significant benefits to the team during this competitive period.
Speaking after Simba thrashed Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto 6-1 in the CAF Champions League, Zubeda said Simba is a big club that needs quality players capable of helping it achieve its objectives.
Zubeda described Doumbia as one of the players whose arrival has been important to the squad, particularly given the team’s needs in the attacking department.
Her remarks came after the striker demonstrated his contribution during the continental encounter.
“Every player has their own destiny,” Zubeda said, expressing her happiness with Doumbia’s arrival at Simba.
Her statement reflected her belief that the striker’s signing could play a part in the club’s anticipated success.
The praise follows Simba’s emphatic victory over 15 de Agosto, a result that puts the Tanzanian giants in a strong position ahead of the return leg.
Doumbia is expected to remain an important part of Simba’s plans as the club continues its campaign in the CAF Champions League.
