Simba SC have confirmed that fans will be allowed into the stadium to watch their CAF Champions League match against Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto after discussions between the two clubs resulted in an agreement on the matter.
According to a statement from Simba’s Information and Communications Department, the match is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam. The decision gives Msimbazi supporters an opportunity to watch their team in action during the important continental encounter.
Simba’s management said it made efforts to engage with 15 de Agosto, recognising the importance of fans in motivating the team and strengthening its competitive spirit. The move is significant for a club that relies on supporters’ backing in major matches, particularly when representing Tanzania in African competitions.
For fans unable to attend the match at the stadium, Simba have also announced that the game will be shown on large screens at Mwembeyanga and Mbagala Zakheim. The initiative aims to give more supporters an opportunity to follow the match together.
However, the club stated that ticket prices would be announced at a later date. Fans are expected to await official information on ticket sales and stadium entry procedures as they prepare to support their team under the slogan “Simba Nguvu Moja.”
