Simba SC has announced plans to install a large screen (big screen) at Mwembe Yanga Grounds in Temeke, Dar es Salaam, to allow its supporters to watch their CAF Champions League match against Equatorial Guinea’s FC 15 de Agosto.
The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, kicking off at 3:00 p.m. local time.
The game is expected to be played behind closed doors after the opposition decided that it should be held without spectators.
Simba SC’s Head of Information and Communications, Ahmed Ally, said the big-screen arrangement aims to give the club’s supporters an opportunity to follow the match and continue backing their team despite being unable to attend the game at the stadium.
Ahmed also emphasized that supporters planning to watch the match at Mwembe Yanga must wear Simba SC’s new jersey.
He further urged Simba fans to be cautious about any calls from their rivals encouraging them to go to the stadium, stressing the importance of following their club’s guidance regarding the match.
Through this initiative, Simba aims to bring its supporters together at one venue to watch the international fixture and maintain their enthusiasm and support for the team in the CAF Champions League campaign.
