Young Africans SC have continued their training at their Avic Town camp in Dar es Salaam ahead of the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League against Madagascar’s CFFA. Head coach Manqoba Mngqithi and his squad are preparing to begin their continental campaign with a positive result.
Yanga are expected to face CFFA this Saturday at Azam Complex in Chamazi, with the Madagascar side having already arrived in Tanzania for the encounter. The second leg is scheduled for October 21, 2026.

Both matches are scheduled to take place at Azam Complex, meaning Yanga will not need to travel to Madagascar for the return leg. However, the aggregate score over the two matches will determine which team advances to the next round.
During their preparations, Yanga are continuing to improve the squad’s readiness despite injury concerns involving some players. The team aims to use the remaining time to address key areas before facing CFFA in a tie that will require concentration and discipline across both legs.
