Singida Black Stars have announced that the club’s Disciplinary Committee will review the incident that led to striker Jonathan Sowah being sent off during their match against Dodoma Jiji FC, according to the club’s Media Officer, Hussein Massanza.
Sowah was shown a straight red card in the 79th minute following an incident involving Dodoma Jiji player Andy Bikoko. The NBC Premier League encounter ended in a 1-1 draw.
According to the statement, the review aims to assess the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine the appropriate action in accordance with the club’s rules and procedures. However, any further action against Sowah will depend on the outcome of the committee’s assessment.
