Singida Black Stars have completed their two-week training camp in Arusha and are now turning their attention to their NBC Premier League match against Dodoma Jiji, scheduled for October 9, 2026, at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma. The camp has been an important part of the team’s preparations for what is expected to be a highly competitive encounter.
During the preparations, Singida played two friendly matches, starting with a 1-0 victory over Polisi Tanzania on October 1 before beating Mbuni FC 2-1 on October 3. The results have boosted morale within the squad while giving the technical bench an opportunity to assess the players’ readiness.
Head coach Papy Kimoto said he is satisfied with the progress of his squad despite the challenge of some players joining their respective national teams during the FIFA international window. However, Singida continued with their planned preparations to ensure the team remained in good shape ahead of their league fixtures.
After six league matches, Singida Black Stars have collected 10 points from three wins, one draw and two defeats, placing them fourth in the standings. The team has scored 13 goals and conceded nine, and will now look to use the Arusha camp as a springboard to maintain their positive run against Dodoma Jiji.
