Simba SC are set to play two friendly matches in South Africa as part of their preparations for the challenges of the 2026/27 season.
The Msimbazi Reds will begin with a match against Polokwane City FC on October 2, 2026, in Polokwane, before travelling to Johannesburg the following day to face Sekhukhune United on October 3.
The matches will provide Simba’s technical bench with an opportunity to assess their players against teams competing in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL), while also improving the squad’s physical and tactical readiness.
For Simba, the two fixtures are expected to form an important part of their preparations before they resume their competitive schedule this season, with the club facing challenges in both domestic and international competitions.
The club’s management has urged supporters to continue following updates on the team’s trip and schedule through the Simba App, as the squad heads to South Africa aiming to reach its best condition ahead of the upcoming challenges.
