Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) President Wallace Karia is expected to meet with Women’s Premier League clubs in early October 2026 to discuss solutions to the league’s sponsorship challenges.
Reports indicate that as many as six of the 12 participating clubs had been considering boycotting the competition due to high operating costs.
The meeting is expected to address the challenges facing the clubs, with securing a league sponsor among the key solutions being considered to help reduce the financial burden on the teams and ensure the competition continues smoothly.
