Young Africans (Yanga SC) have returned to training after a short break, with the squad resuming preparations for their upcoming matches in the 2026/27 season. The club announced their return to work with a brief message, “We are back to work,” accompanied by photos and videos of the players during training.
The squad’s return to training marks the beginning of preparations for the season’s upcoming fixtures, including the NBC Premier League and the CAF Champions League, as the technical bench looks to ensure the players remain in good physical and technical condition.
Head coach Manqoba Mngqithi continues to have a wide range of options within the squad after Yanga strengthened their team ahead of the season, including the signing of Namibian striker Peter Shalulile and several other players who remain part of the club’s plans.
