Former Simba SC, Yanga SC, Azam FC and Kagera Sugar player, as well as football analyst Amri Kiemba, has joined Kagera Sugar as the club’s new assistant coach.
Kiemba will be part of the coaching staff under head coach Cédric Kaze, who was recently appointed as Kagera Sugar’s new manager, replacing Juma Kaseja.
Kiemba’s arrival gives Kagera Sugar a member of the coaching staff with a history of playing for the club, along with extensive experience in competitive football in Tanzania.
He has also previously served as an assistant coach with the Tanzania national team, Taifa Stars, giving him experience in both coaching and playing.
Kiemba now returns to Kagera Sugar in a new role, where he will work alongside Kaze to improve the team’s performances ahead of their upcoming Tanzania Premier League matches.
