The League Board has said that it has received a letter from the Yanga club requesting to move from Azam Complex Stadium, Chamazi, and move to KMC Complex.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Almasi Kasongo, said that the letter was received the other day and is now in the process and in a few days they will make a decision to accept them or otherwise
The Yanga Club announced the other day that they will move from Azam Complex Stadium to KMC Complex, in their Tanzania Mainland Premier League games as well as the FA Cup which has not yet started
"We have received a letter from Yanga wanting to play at the KMC Complex Stadium, I think today (Monday) is a working day, the young people will start working on it, after that we will have a good chance and announce the decisions of the Board"
"The letter explains their intention to move from Azam Complex Stadium to KMC Complex, Mwenge, they have explained their reasons but they remain our secret between the club and the Board and the owners of Azam Stadium"
"The reasons are thought provoking, they are valid or not, all of that is in the process, we are watching the ball more, the Board is an instrument of all the clubs, therefore it exists for their interests as their instrument, we are satisfied," he said
However, he said all that must be in the rules, so they will also say what the rules say, but without giving up the interest of football
After being beaten 3-1 against Tabora United last Thursday at the same stadium, just a few days after receiving another 1-0 defeat against Azam FC, rumors began to be heard that the leaders had a plan to move to that field
