Simba midfielder Thaddeo Lwanga said the time to return to the field is approaching after recovering from injuries that kept him out since October 2021
Lwanga was injured in the Champions League match against Jwaneng Galaxy at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium Simba losing 3-1
The Ugandan international said he feels relieved to be back on the field after a long absence
"I find it comforting to be back on the field again. I've been out for a long time, soon I will start playing matches. I assure Simba fans will see me on the field much stronger," said Lwanga
Lwanga is part of the Simba squad in Morocco preparing for the Confederations Cup match against RS Bekane which will be played on Sunday, February 27 in Bekane
