Defending champions Simba began camping yesterday to prepare for the NBC Premier League match against Mtibwa Sugar which will be played on Saturday, January 22 at Manungu Stadium, Turiani in Morooro
The League Board yesterday announced the opening of Manungu Stadium after undergoing special adjustments directed by the board. It will be the first time for Simba Sc to play in the stadium after 23 years
Simba Information and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, said they had forgotten the result of the match against Mbeya City and now their minds and energy are focused on fighting to ensure they beat Mtibwa Sugar.
Ally said Simba squad is expected to leave Dar es Salaam today for Morogoro to set up a temporary camp and in the morning on game day they will go to Turiani
"We need good results in our game against Mtibwa to calm our fans the pain they experienced in the previous match, we are going to make them happy at Manungu," said Ally
Ahmed has indicated that midfielder Clatous Chama will be among the squad that will take to the pitch in the game according to the plans and programs of the technical bench led by Head Coach, Pablo Franco
