The Tanzania Premier League (TPLB) Board yesterday December 17, 2021, met with the chairmen of the mainland Tanzania Premier League (NBC) clubs to discuss various issues related to the sponsorship of the 2021/22 Premier League
During the meeting the club leaders had the opportunity to consult and agree with the major league board on how best to implement the terms of the sponsorship agreements with the aim of ensuring existing sponsors are satisfied with the implementation but also attract new sponsors.
In the case of GSM Tanzania Limited, a co-sponsor of NBC, 15 of the 16 participating clubs have come out with a resolution to continue implementing the terms of the agreement, including the placement of the GSM logo on the left shoulder of the jersey. applicable to the Premier League Games
The 15 clubs (Geita Gold, Mtibwa sugar, Mbeya Kwanza, Tanzania Prisons, Biashara United, Ruvu Shooting, KMC FC, Kagera Sugar, Namungo FC, Azam FC, Coastal Union, Dodoma Jiji FC, Tanzania Police, Mbeya City and Yanga SC) are satisfied with the Procedure used in entering into all sponsorship agreements this season and requesting the league board and the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), to continue their efforts to find more sponsors
Premier League Board would like to thank all the NBC Premier League clubs this season for their co-operation in discussing challenges and finding solutions together.
The Board urges the Club to continue to fully comply with the requirements of all sponsorship agreements as this will also attract new sponsors
In another development, NBC Bank management and a representative of YuTong bus manufacturing companies, have spoken to the club chairmen about the process of lending modern buses for their team travel
Clubs ready to hire the buses, have been required to send a letter to the league board so that the process can take place through an agreement between NBC and TFF
