Simba Sc today boycotted the Press Conference towards the game against Yanga which will be played on Saturday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Earlier this week Simba Sc wrote a letter to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) requesting detailed information on the GSM sponsorship which was last week announced as league co-sponsors
Simba wrote the letter after TFF instructed all clubs to put the GSM logo on their jerseys, despite their own regulations stipulating that only the main sponsor's logo should be on the jerseys
To emphasize, Simba today boycotted the presence of the GSM poster at the Conference which included coaches of both teams
Simba has insisted they does not recognize the GSM sponsorship and they are not ready to partner with them
GSM sponsors Yanga Sc, they do not have the legitimacy to sponsor the league, Simba sees this sponsorship as a serious conflict of interest and could affect fair competition in the league
