Simba Sc's contract with Sportpesa expires at the end of this year where Simba's management stated they will give priority to the sponsors if they reach an agreement on a new contract
Simba signed a five-year contract with Sportpesa worth around Tsh 5 Billion, where each season Simba earned more than Tsh 1 Billion plus bonus money depending on success
Speaking at the Simba' General Assembly yesterday, Chief Executive Officer Barbara Gonzalez revealed that their contract with Sportpesa is set to expire at the end of 2021.
"This year our contract with Sportpesa expires, so in the new contract we will give them priority but if we do not reach to agreement, we will look for another sponsor," said Barbara
Currently Simba is the largest football institution in Tanzania and probably in the East and Central Africa, Barbara stressed that the value of a new contract must be commensurate with the current status of the club
