Simba Assistant Coach Thiery Hitimana revealed that the meeting he had with players Jonas Mkude and Ibrahim Ajibu has begun to show results, believing the players will be a great help to the squad this season
Ajibu and Mkude had no place in Didier Gomes' squad whose contract was terminated by mutual agreement
But when Hitimana was handed the reins of Simba, he was able to bring the players back to the squad and Ajibu helped Simba to a victory over Namungo Fc in a game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium earlier this week
"I took the opportunity to sit down with them to work hard for the team because I realize their potential. I believe they understood me and worked on what I told them to do"
"I advised both of them to train hard so that they can be guaranteed a playing time as they have great potential," said Hitimana
"I am very thankful to God and I thank them. they listened and have done great job in the previous match. I urge them to continue with the same ability so that even the next coach can trust them and give them playing ime"
Yesterday Simba announced the Spanish coach Pablo Franco who landed to replace Gomes expected to be assisted by Hitimana and Selemani Matola
Pablo is a believer in short-pass football and fast attacking. Mkude and Ajibu have a chance to continue to shine in his squad if they follow Hitimana's advice
