Simba Sc head coach Didier Gomes said he was forced to make changes to his squad's playing style due to unfriendly stadiums
This season Simba have started with two away matches against Biashara United where they were forced to a goalless draw and against Dodoma Jiji with a 1-0 win
In those matches, Simba did'nt play as usual 'pira biriani' but Gomes explained the reason for the tactical change
"The environment of the stadiums does not allow us to play the way we want so as a coach I saw the need to change tactics. Every match for us is a final as the league has just started, so we have to fight to get results that will keep us in good shape," said Gomes. em>
After those matches, the National champions return to Dar es Salaam where they will play four matches against Polisi Tanzania, Coastal Union, Ruvu Shooting and Namungo Fc
Gomes assured fans that they can expect to see their team play differently from the way they have played in the last two matches due to the stadium challenges
Simba is currently preparing for the first round of Champions League match against Jwaneng Galaxy which will be played on October 15 in Botswana and a rematch will be played in Dar es Salaam a week later
