Yesterday Simba played their first friendly match in Morocco against FAR Rabat in a match which ended in a 2-2 draw
It was a match of preparation for the new season for each team, Simba preparing for the league and the Champions League while FAR Rabat preparing for the league and the Confederations Cup
But it was also a game that brought together two coaches with similar characteristics, Sven Vandenbroeck and Didier Gomes, both preferring attacking football
Although it was just a game of pre-season, there was some kind of competition with each team looking for victory
The first period was for FAR Rabat, they were excellent and created many chances where they managed to score two goals
But in the second half things changed, Simba of Gomes came back better and managed to score two goals through Hassan Dilunga who finished off a fine pass from Ibrahim Ajibu and the second goal was scored by Pape Sakho who finished off Jimmy Mwinuke's pass.
Sven was Simba's coach before joining FAR Rabat so he had more advantages of knowing Simba than Gomes who was his first game against Sven
However with his team having a lot of new players, ithey played good football especially in the second half
After the game, the coaches had a chance to exchange ideas while Sven got a chance to greet the players and Simba officials
