The Government in Kigoma has urged fans who will go to Lake Tanganyika Stadium to witness the FA Cup final match between Simba and Yanga, wear a hat and wash their hands on the day of the match
Kigoma Regional Commissioner Thobias Andengenye said the warning was not only for those who would enter the stadium but also for those who would be watching the match on television in the streets should wear masks and wash hands with running water
"The provincial Government states the following, all people who enter the stadium to watch the match should make sure they are wearing masks throughout the game"
"The Government has ensured the availability of water, people must wash their hands before entering the stadium," said Andengenye
According to data provided by the Ministry of Health, there is an increase in infections since the emergence of the third phase of the virus so the Government urges citizens to be careful when they are in rallies
